Here’s how it works:

Pick up your free Indianapolis Greenways Partnership t-shirt and trash bag on September 29 or 30 at the Taylor Siefker Williams Design Group office, 10 S. New Jersey Street, Indianapolis, IN between 4:00-6:00 pm.

Between October 1-10, visit a section of any of Indy Greenways’ nine trails and collect trash along a section of the trail---you choose the location and distance.Current Indy Greenways include: Central Canal Towpath, Eagle Creek Greenway, Fall Creek Greenway, Little Buck Creek Greenway, Monon Rail-trail, Pennsy Trail, Pleasant Run Greenway, Pogues Run Greenway, White River Greenway.

While there, take a selfie at a notable feature (trail sign, milemarker, notable waterway) and post to your Facebook or Instagram account with the name of the greenway and #IndyGreenwaysFallCleanup and #indianapolisgreenwayspartnership. You can also send your photos to info@greenwayspartnership.com. Be sure to wear your Indianapolis Greenways Partnership t-shirt and we will share your good deeds with the world!

When done, carry the trash out and dispose of properly

The clean-up is open to everyone. This is intended to be a socially distanced event.

Participants are encouraged to complete the clean-up as part of their individual use of the greenways and to follow all of Marion County’s guidelines for wearing masks (wear masks if you cannot be more than 6 feet apart from others, even in outdoor spaces) and social distancing.
