Cancelled - Walk with a Doc on the White River Greenway

Dr. Daniel Pino, internist and pediatrician at Eskenazi Health Center Barton Annex and medical director of Eskenazi Health Lifestyle Health & Wellness Center, will lead a Walk with a Doc event on Saturday, March 28 on the White River Greenway. The White River Greenway is a 10-mile greenway trail that follows the White River from 38th Street on the north to Raymond Street south of downtown. The greenway passes through White River State Park downtown and provides connections to several significant cultural destinations in the city.
Anyone who would like to take part in the walk will meet Dr. Pino at The Commonground at Eskenazi Health, which is located at 720 Eskenazi Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46202 by the main entrance to the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital. Participants walk at their own pace and have the opportunity to ask Dr. Pino questions. The walk begins at 3 p.m. and is free to all who are interested in participating. Parking will be available in the Eskenazi Health Parking Garage.
Walking is proven to be one of the best exercises to improve overall health and can be part of developing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Walk with a Doc was started in 2005 with a mission to inspire communities through movement and conversation. It is now a program with support all around the world.
