Walk with a Dietitian on the Fall Creek Greenway

Walking is one of the most popular forms of exercise worldwide. It doesn’t require expensive equipment or special skills, and it provides a wide range of health benefits. Even small walks have been shown to improve cardiovascular health, type 2 diabetes, depression, and a whole range of other health issues. In addition to developing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, walking is a great opportunity to get outdoors and explore Indy’s greenways. An MCPHD dietitian will lead this walk as he/she discusses the chosen topic/theme for the day. This program is a partnership between the Indianapolis Greenways Partnership and the Marion County Public Health Department’s Active People, Healthy Indy program.
